A Few Words
About Dr Victoria
My Bio
Dr Victoria Jordan BVSc (hons) MVS
I
am a dedicated small animal veterinarian with a commitment to providing
high quality care to patients at every stage of life – from beginning
to end. I have worked exclusively in small animal general practice
since graduating from the University of Sydney in 2005. I spent many
years working in practices across the Western Sydney region before
returning to my hometown of Newcastle in 2017 with my husband and crew
of small children.
I am committed to ongoing learning and skill development – I have
completed post graduate studies in behavioural medicine, a Master of
Veterinary Studies (Small Animal Practice) and regularly attend
continuing education events. Outside of work, I am kept busy with house
renovations and DIY projects, while learning watercolour painting and
reading books about dragons.
Throughout my time in veterinary practice, in amongst the highs and
lows, I have come to find that guiding families and pets through a
gentle and peaceful euthanasia experience is something that I find
deeply rewarding. While I love my work in general practice, I started
Tender Paws Veterinary Care so that I could support families through
this time, helping their beloved companions pass peacefully in a
familiar place surrounded by their favourite people, without of the
pressures or stress of a busy veterinary clinic.
If you’re facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye, please know
that you’re not alone. I’m here to guide you through the process with
kindness, care and understanding.
